Would you dare to store your food in green goo?
I came across an idea for a bio robot refrigerator that will keep your food cool in the future. Basically, this was a design competition for home appliances in the year 2050, where probably we'll be eating fake vegetables laced with melamine and meat from cloned animals.
Russian student Yuriy Dmitriev came up with this idea of a bio fridge. Made up of green gel that resembles those stuff that is widely used in Nickelodeon shows, you simply shove your food in it, such that the gel morphs around it, and it will keep it cool for you. The gel that encapsulates your products will automatically provide the right temperature to keep it cool.
Now this is just an idea for the future, and can only be made possible when technology is advanced and cost-effective. Personally, I don't think I would put food in it unless it's packaged. The idea of putting raw food like apples or uncovered food is a bit of a concern. I certainly wouldn't want to eat apples covered in green goo.
The future does look promising :)
