I came across this conceptual travel device.
An airless, frictionless form of transport that is based on magnetics, these travel capsules can accommodate up to six people, and can travel to a speed of 6,500 km/h. I'm thinking how awesome it would be if this were to be used in Singapore. Though, with a growing population of 5 million, we would probably need to import a few thousands of such capsules. Maybe, designers could adapt this for overpopulated small pieces of land measuring 42km by 21 km, (like Singapore). Perhaps a longer version of these capsules, and standing-room only instead of sitting?
