Imagine if you had the power to decipher chirps and know the message that was being transmitted. Honestly, it's not very likely. What is more likely in the near future is to translate your messages into chirps and tweets (the bird sounds and not the 160 characters text) and the only person who can decode it would be a certain mobile app user.
Art Science student Matthijs Munnk has come up with a digital bird messaging system called Little Bird. (One might liken it to a physical twitter.) The tweets and chirps are random, and not in a fixed format like Morse code, so no passer by will intercept the message.
You just need the app.
